Acedo Santamarina has a practice area specialized in the regulatory compliance of products destined to the end market. Within this area, we have advised several clients in the analysis and compliance with Mexican Official Standards (NOM), Mexican Standards (NMX), various environmental requirements for efficient energy use, labeling requirements, health and import requirements and other regulatory requirements that products must comply with for their commercialization in Mexico.
As part of this activity, we have advised several clients in controversies and other aspects of regulatory compliance before the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO), the Commission for the Efficient Use of Energy (CONUEE), as well as in the follow-up and incidence of regulations before the National Commission for Regulatory Improvement (CONAMER), the Federal Commission for the Prevention of Health Risks (COFEPRIS), among other federal and state public administration agencies.
