Rafael Tena C.

In charge of the firm’s tax practice since July 2014. He holds a law degree from Universidad Panamericana. He is a specialist in Tax Law from the Escuela Libre de Derecho, where he obtained the highest average of his generation. He holds a Master’s degree in International Tax Law from the University of Leiden, The Netherlands.

Among others, he has also completed a diploma course in Administrative Procedural Law offered by the Mexican Bar Association, Colegio de Abogados, A.C., as well as a course in American Law offered by Columbia University in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

He has developed his professional practice as an advisor in international transactions, tax audits, including transfer pricing, as well as other types of tax planning strategies. He has represented clients in federal and state tax litigation.

He has been a professor at the Universidad Panamericana Law School and High school. He is the author of several articles published in specialized magazines in our country and abroad.

He is a member of the Tax Law Commission of the Mexican Bar Association (Barra Mexicana, Colegio de Abogados, A.C.).
